2023 Meg’s Pinot Noir

Our delicious Pinot Noir comes from grapes grown at the foothills of the Santa Lucia Highlands in Monterey County. They meticulously farm this vineyard to maximize quality. The 2023 vintage was late due to a wet spring and late summer with no heat spikes. However, this gave us lots of hang time for great flavors.  The delicious wine balances fruit and earthy aromas perfectly. Notes of plum, strawberry and subtle earth jump out of the glass followed by nutmeg and spice from the new oak. In the mouth there are juicy tannins and light acidity to welcome the flavors of plum, earth and barrel spice. This is a wine that is perfect to sip on a warm autumn night. 

San Saba Vineyard

This amazing vineyard was planted in 1974 and is located at the foothills of the Santa Lucia Highlands and produces grapes of incomparable depth and flavor. The grapes were hand-picked at the peak of flavor and pressed within hours of harvest to ensure the flavor was maintained.

2022 Sangiovese

Our Sangiovese was grown in a new vineyard next to our winery on the eastern side of the Santa Clara Valley just east of Gilroy, where it is carefully tended by George and Lynda Green. They meticulously farm their vineyard to maximize quality. The 2022 growing season was challenging starting with a two week plus heat wave with temperatures above 110 F. That was followed by weeks of below normal temperatures giving the vines a chance to recover.

Smoky cherry, dried herbs and cranberry aromas open this wine followed by juicy, yet firm tannins in the mouth along with flavors of rhubarb and blackberries. Serve with steak Florentine.

Verde Estate Vineyard

This amazing vineyard was planted in 2015 and is located at the foothills of the southern Diablo Range, it produces grapes of incomparable depth and flavor. The grapes were hand-picked at the peak of flavor and crushed within hours of harvest to ensure the flavor was maintained.

2023 Estate Malbec

This impressive Malbec was grown in a new vineyard on the eastern side of the Santa Clara Valley just east of Gilroy and is carefully tended by George and Lynda Green. They meticulously farm this vineyard to maximize quality. The 2023 vintage was late due to unseasonable low temperatures with very few heat spikes. However, this gave the grapes extended hang time to develop great flavors. 

Ripe boysenberry, baking spices, and toasty oak lead off the aromas followed by a rich jammy fruit body with velvety tannins in the mouth.  This combined with good acidity, sweet tobacco and blackberry flavors make a wine to be enjoyed for years to come. Pair with a nice rack of lamb chops.

2021 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

We are excited for the 2021 release of our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes were grown in a new vineyard next to our winery on the eastern side of the Santa Clara Valley just east of Gilroy and is carefully tended by George and Lynda Green. They meticulously farm their vineyard to maximize quality. The 2021 growing season was outstanding in the Santa Clara Valley, allowing for a medium crop with long hang time on the vine, giving intense and complex flavors.

Dark blackberry and boysenberry aromas start this wine, followed by cedar, vanilla, baking spice and hints of leather from the oak aging. Medium tannins in the mouth are supported by balanced acidity and a complex finish. Pair with a nice steak with a mushroom sauce.

2021 Estate Merlot

We are excited for the release of our 2021 Estate Merlot. It was grown in a new vineyard next to our winery on the eastern side of the Santa Clara Valley just east of Gilroy and is carefully tended by George and Lynda Green. They meticulously farm this vineyard to maximize quality. The 2021 growing season was outstanding in the Santa Clara Valley, allowing for a medium crop with long hang time on the vine, giving intense and complex flavors. This wine has dark black and plum fruit flavors framed by sage, vanilla and cocoa oak aromas. The lush medium tannins balance the long berry finish.  Don’t hesitate to have this wine with some grilled burgers.

Lots of blueberry fruits and vanilla greet your nose in this medium bodied Syrah. Notes of acai berry, licorice and black pepper round out the aromas as the soft, yet lush tannins greet your mouth. This wine is great for picnics and BBQ’s.

2022 Estate Cabernet Franc

This is our eighth release of our Cabernet Franc was grown in a new vineyard on the eastern side of the Santa Clara Valley just east of Gilroy and is carefully tended by George and Lynda Green. They meticulously farm this vineyard to maximize quality. The 2022 growing season was challenging starting with a two week plus heat wave with temperatures above 110 F. That was followed by weeks of below normal temperatures giving the vines a chance to recover.

Cherry fruit leather and plum fruit aromas are framed by toasty marshmallow oak notes. In the mouth there are juicy medium tannins followed by plum, rhubarb and herbal notes. This wine is made for a pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon.
