2021 Estate Malbec

This impressive Malbec was grown in a new vineyard on the eastern side of the Santa Clara Valley just east of Gilroy and is carefully tended by George and Lynda Green. They meticulously farm this vineyard to maximize quality. The 2021 growing season was outstanding in the Santa Clara Valley allowing for a medium crop with long hang time on the vine, giving intense and complex flavors. Blackberry pie and leather lead off the aromas followed by sweet tobacco and cherries. Big juicy tannins in the mouth combined with good acidity, anise and blackberry flavors make this perfect to have with a 1.5” thick BBQ Ribeye Steak.

2019 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

We are excited for the 2019 release of our Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes were grown in a new vineyard next to our winery on the eastern side of the Santa Clara Valley just east of Gilroy and is carefully tended by George and Lynda Green. They meticulously farm their vineyard to maximize quality. The 2019 growing season was outstanding the Santa Clara Valley allowing for a balanced crop with long hang time on the vine, giving intense and complex flavors. Juicy fruit aromas of cassis and cherry start this wine, followed by cocoa, baking spice and dried herbs from the oak aging. Medium tannins in the mouth are supported by balanced acidity and a complex finish.

Verde Estate Vineyard:

This amazing vineyard was planted in 2015 and is located at the foothills of the southern Diablo Range, it produces grapes of incomparable depth and flavor. The grapes were hand-picked at the peak of flavor and crushed within hours of harvest to ensure the flavor was maintained.

2019 Estate Merlot

We are excited for the first release of our new Estate Merlot. It was grown in a new vineyard next to our winery on the eastern side of the Santa Clara Valley just east of Gilroy and is carefully tended by George and Lynda Green. They meticulously farm this vineyard to maximize quality. The 2019 growing season was outstanding the Santa Clara Valley allowing for a medium crop with long hang time on the vine, giving intense and complex flavors. Concentrated and crisp, fresh blueberry is the first aroma you smell, complimented by vanilla, graham cracker, bramble and toasty oak nuances. The mouthfeel is substantial, but silky at the same time with lots of dark fruit and oak flavors in the long finish.

We are excited for the new release of our Estate Syrah. It was grown in a new vineyard next to our winery on the eastern side of the Santa Clara Valley just east of Gilroy and is carefully tended by George and Lynda Green. They meticulously farm this vineyard to maximize quality. The 2020 growing season was outstanding the Santa Clara Valley allowing for a medium crop with long hang time on the vine, giving intense and complex flavors. Lots of blueberry and cherry fruits greet your nose in this medium bodied Syrah. Notes of smokey marshmallow, bacon, graphite, and black pepper round out the aromas as the soft tannins greet your mouth. They are framed by juicy currant and butterscotch on the smooth finish. Bring out the BBQ and enjoy with a perfectly grilled hanger steak.

2020 Estate Cabernet Franc

We are proud to release our new 2020 Cabernet Franc which was grown in a new vineyard on the eastern side of the Santa Clara Valley near Gilroy. George and Lynda Green meticulously farm this vineyard to maximize quality. The 2020 growing season was outstanding the Santa Clara Valley allowing for a medium crop with long hang time on the vine, giving intense and complex flavors. Cherry cobbler is the first flavor that this medium intensity, but complex, wine gives in the nose. Plum, pipe tobacco and eucalyptus round out the aromas followed by ripe plum and red fruit in the mouth and smooth, old world tannins. This wine is a perfect match for a stuffed pork chops and homemade apple sauce.

2020 Bella’s Estate Reserve Merlot

We are excited for the release of our new Reserve Merlot. It was grown in a new vineyard next to our winery on the eastern side of the Santa Clara Valley just east of Gilroy and is carefully tended by George and Lynda Green. They meticulously farm this vineyard to maximize quality. The 2020 growing season was outstanding the Santa Clara Valley allowing for a medium crop with long hang time on the vine, giving intense and complex flavors. Concentrated and crisp, fresh blueberry, currant and cocao is the first aroma you smell, complimented by vanilla, graham cracker, bramble and toasty oak nuances. The mouthfeel is substantial, but silky at the same time with lots of dark fruit and oak flavors in the long finish. Pair with braised lamb shank.
